Rowan
Peacock
Consulting Hypnotist, NeuroLinguistic Coach
People say I'm natural, easy-going, and comfortable to be around. I like to take a humorous
approach to life and work because I like life to be fun. In private sessions, I keep things
relaxed, direct, and focused on getting you where you want
to go with as little 'fluff' as possible. In seminars
and workshops, I endeavor to deliver smart and accessible content
with a creative and free-spirited 'flair'. My primary mission
is to help you achieve the change you are seeking - and I hope
to help people realize that the process CAN be fun, and even funny.
Let's face it - human behavior, especially our own, can be down-right
ridiculous sometimes, and when we can laugh at something that seemed overwhelming just moments before, then the so-called 'problem' may not seem quite so insurmountable. My goal is to make sure you leave your sessions, workshops, or seminars
feeling BETTER than when you walked in, and having the tools with
which to continue those good feelings.
My professional
and personal history include over 10 years as a consulting hypnotist,
over 25 years in leadership and counseling roles, and a rich education
in communication and the power of the mind. I am an expert in human behavior and motivation, and have studied 'what makes you tick' extensively. I can honestly
say that throughout the span of my career every job and every
educational experience has been geared toward helping people discover
who they are, what they want, and and how to be and have that
in their lives. Whether helping people to create a vision of their
best future, get over phobias and anxiety, or release trauma from
the past, this work is more than just my job. It is my passion,
my 'obsession' if you will...it is simply who I am.
Approach and Philosophy...
I have had
the honor of listening, and watching people discover and create what they REALLY
want in life, for over 20 years. People come to me for a wide
variety of issues: to create health and wellness, overcome anxiety and create confidence,
improve their careers and relationships, etc. I get to be a small part of their journey, and through
that privilege I have developed a deep respect for the human psyche
- for our strength, our resillience, and our creative power. Every
client has been a teacher for me, and I admire them for choosing
to evolve, change, and grow. Every person that walks through my
door does so with courage and the determination to create powerful
change in their own lives. Sometimes to get there, people
have to release past traumas, phobias & anxiety. Other times,
they have to be willing to be truthful about life as it is, to discover
life as they want it to be.
I am NOT a psychiatrist, psychologist, or medical professional. If you have a diagnosed medical or mental disorder,
please seek medical assistance and consider using hypnosis as an adjunct process. I do not
"treat" or "cure" illness, or fix things that are 'wrong' with you. In the work that I do, we will operate within the parameters of one of the most useful presuppositions in NLP: We all work perfectly, we simply need to learn HOW our minds work, and use that information to get the results that we want.
All
right - now for the boring stuff...
