Seattle Hypnosis & NLP - Tools for Change

Let's face it - you want to feel better. It's that simple, isn't it? No matter what brought you to this website, you (just like the rest of us), really just want to feel better. Why are you here, seeking out information or help? What will resolving your goals and desires do for you? NLP and Hypnosis are powerful tools to help you get what you want, and feel better. What would happen if you got everything you want? What's next?

Perhaps you want relaxation and stress relief, or more success at work, or to create a life that has seemed elusive up to this point.  Changing habits, motivation, confidence, success, love, happiness, peace – these are all things people seek, and find, using hypnosis and NLP (NeuroLinguistic Programming).

The best advice I can give you, is to be aware and educated about what you are about to experience. Some people think of hypnosis as a type of 'magic pill cure'. They expect to walk into a hypnotist's office, 'go to sleep', and wake up miraculously healed of all that ails them. That is, unfortunately, a belief brought on by the fiction presented in movies, on TV, and through the seeming magic of a stage hypnosis show.

In reality, hypnosis and NLP still require the client to do a little work. It may, in fact, take a few sessions to get the results you are after. A few sessions. As in 3, or 4, or 5. Imagine that - instead of spending years in therapy, you could begin feeling better almost immediately, and you could have very complete and thorough results in just a few sessions! So what if it takes 5 or 6 sessions...or 10? These are results unheard of in tradional therapy - people can reasonably expect to be in therapy for months or even YEARS, spending thousands of dollars, and possibly never achieve the kind of results you can get in just a few sessions with hypnosis and NLP. That is because these tools access the power of your own mind, and how your mind already works, to help you think the way you want to think, feel the way you want to feel, and DO what you want to do.

When you understand your mind and how your mind already works, you can use the power of your own mind to get what you want. Some people use hypnosis for simple things: quit smoking, lose weight, overcome a phobia. Others use hypnosis on a much 'grander' scale: happiness, inner peace, creating wonderful relationships. Hypnosis can be a powerful tool for anything you can put your mind to, because hypnosis is all about the power of the mind.

Hypnosis and NLP are tools for creating personal freedom. The freedom to CHOOSE how you think and feel, what you DO. Experiencing a positive change in your life is the result of understanding how your mind works, and USING that information to master your own mind. With guidance, your mind can easily focus on creating the experience of life that you CHOOSE. It’s that easy.  The proper application of leverage within your own mind gives you mastery over your thoughts, feelings, and actions…which creates happiness, peace, freedom, success – whatever you want.

Hypnosis and NLP are merely vehicles through which we can apply knowledge and leverage efficiently and effectively.  Many people have experienced years of counseling (talk therapy to acquire knowledge, but not necessarily change), or know someone who has.  The knowledge gained through all of that talking is only beneficial if it is actually utilized.  With a hypnotist, you can create the focus to change how your mind works, automatically.  Hypnosis and NLP help us do the detective work to find out what makes you tick. These tools also allow us to change the impact past events have on your present reality, and install more effective methods and strategies to get what you want out of life.

Find out how hypnosis and NLP can help with your specific goals by clicking on one of the related links.  If you have questions, need additional assistance, or are ready to make an appointment, feel free to contact me via email. I take on a very limited number of clients - usually by referral, so we'll spend some time via email or over the phone determining if I'm a good fit for what you want. If I am not - I may recommend another practitioner. I am not a hypnotherapist - and I am not traditional. You might think of me as a coach who uses whatever tools work to help you get what you want. Sometimes, that just means I tell you the truth - perhaps a truth you've not been able to see. I do not maintain an office, nor regular office hours, because I choose my clients very carefully and craft our time together around your life.

Sessions with me are not cheap - so if the cost or number of sessions "required" are an issue for you, you will want to see someone else. If you and I decide to work together, we will work until you get what you want. That may be an hour - and it may be a lot more. So - email if you want to commit your time and energy to truly getting what you want.

Best of luck to you - remember to focus on already having that which makes your life fantastic.

When life gets a little too stressful...

Over the years I've noticed that some of the best wisdom comes from some some of the most 'normal' places. For instance, one of my Grandmother's favorite things to say?

"Remember, this too shall pass..."

Anxiety and panic are often all emcompassing - a sense that the feeling one is experiencing in the moment is everything. When one is 'lost' in panic or anxiety, one of the most productive and useful things to be done? Remember that it can NOT last. The feeling will go away - it has to. It always does. It has come and gone before (most likely). Sometimes the quickest way OUT of a feeling, is to fully embrace that feeling. Be with it, allow it to flow through you...and you might find out, it goes away SO much faster than had you resisted, held on...and therefore, stayed 'stuck' in the feeling until eventually it just exhausts you.
